Brandon Sanderson is an acclaimed American author of epic fantasy and science fiction, renowned for his intricate world-building, complex magic systems, and engaging storytelling. Born on December 19, 1975, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Sanderson gained widespread recognition with his debut novel, Elantris, published in 2005. He is best known for creating the Cosmere universe, a vast interconnected setting encompassing series like Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive.
